White Mountain Sports (WMS) offers the best field hockey programs for improving players' skills and developing "game intelligence". The WMS programs offer the ideal place for hockey players of all abilities to grow and learn the "way" to play!  Our 2009 curriculums will focus on a combination of skills, team-oriented tactics, and game strategies.  All program sessions are lead by professional "top level" coaches who are fully prepared to meet the technical and competitive needs of our participants, offering outstanding instruction and positive encouragement.

College Connection  "2009" Showcase:  Both sessions full College Connection "2009" is a highly competitive invitational field hockey recruiting showcase for prospective student-athletes who will graduate in the classes of 2010, 2011, and 2012. The College Connection program integrates skills, recruiting education, and tournament play in a complete package for college bound prospects.  More than 145 COLLEGE COACHES RECRUITED at College Connection in 2008.

Skills Videos are for individuals needing video footage for recruiting purposes. At our video sessions, you will be able to make your ready-for-editing clips of drills and skills.

WMS SHOOT 'N SAVE - NEW!!! 2 Artificial TURF FIELDS AT DEERFIELD ACADEMY
July 26 - 29 @ Deerfield Academy, Deerfield, MA.  The Shoot 'N Save program offers advanced specialty training for goal scoring and goalkeeping, bringing together 30 goalkeepers and up to 100 field players for intensive instruction and training. All Shoot 'N Save sessions are held on "turf". Although this program is now offered simultaneously with the WMS Combo camp, Shoot N Save will operate independently, will have it's own coaching staff, and will follow the very popular Shoot N Save curriculum.

Combo Team Week provides individuals, small groups, and FULL teams of all abilities both a fun and competitive field hockey experience.

WMS TEAM Camp 2009 - FULL- open for commuters ONLY
August 2 - August 5 @ Deerfield Academy, Deerfield, MA
Team Week is for FULL TEAMS ONLY. Get an early start to preseason. Learn how to play hockey better as a team and prepare for the upcoming season through 11 a-side FULL FIELD tournament play and team skills and tactical practices.

WMS programs are designed to help players improve their fundamental skills, expose them to new strategies and increase their knowledge and enjoyment of the game. In addition to drill work and discussions, the programs will feature competitive games. The player's progress will be displayed in game situations.

Get Results From Proven Coaching Methods and Techniques

White Mountain participants learn field hockey from top national coaches, like Pam Hixon, former U.S. Olympic and World Cup Coach. Pam is one of the most successful coaches in collegiate field hockey history.

Leading WMS programs are Ainslee Lamb, current Head Field Hockey Coach at Boston College, former Canadian World Cup and National Team player, and Heather Lewis, former Head Coach at Bucknell University and current owner of NHQ, Inc.  The other key contributor to WMS is Patty Shea, who is the Former Head Coach at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and two-time Olympian and former University of Massachusetts standout.

The programs that are offered by WMS utilizes the most current philosophies and techniques. All players will be challenged to reach their highest potential by outstanding instruction. The coaches participating in the WMS programs are of high caliber and are committed to the improvement and success of all participants.
